Coaching is the future-focused art of maximizing the client’s potential to overcome obstacles to reach a vision by asking the right questions to spark self-reflection and growth from the client in any area of life – family, career, education, money, friendships, and more.

Spiritual direction may be defined as the assistance given by a trained spiritual director to another person through confidential, ongoing conversations which focuses on developing a relationship with God while engaging in a spiritual journey by developing a life of prayer.

Catholic spiritual coaching is a unique offering that combines the two above disciplines since Catholic Christians are commissioned to live in this world but not be of this world. Rather, they are called to radiate the light of Christ to the world through every aspect of their lives, while having their eyes fixed on the things of heaven and the world to come.

As a daughter of God, the Catholic Faith and my relationship with Him are the core of who I am and how my affairs are conducted. Because my coaching practice is built on this foundation of faith and relationship, I can combine life coaching with relational elements of spiritual direction. As a candid coach, I empower the client to unveil true solutions hidden within their being to facilitate the renewal of their mind and bring about catalytic transformation grounded in fertile Catholic soil through the art of deep listening and asking intentional questions.

Coming to know one’s Strengths through the Catholic worldview, is an antidote to the disconnect that many feel in this world. Armed with the self-knowledge who we are in Christ, we are able to appreciate one another’s uniqueness and similarities in this fragmented world, bringing about a deeper connection between us all as a part of God’s creation. This connection is an expression of the whole image of humanity because God, “seeks man in no other way but in his fellow humanity.” (Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger)

In essence, Catholic Strengths coaching is a means of bringing a bit of heaven to earth through the light that it shines into one’s own understanding of oneself, and through the beacon that the one becomes to those encountered in daily living.
